Remy-Martin Latest Brand to Drop Rapper

Yet another major brand has decided to part ways with T.I. Cognac manufacturer Remy-Martin has decided it no longer wants the Atlanta rapper as it's pitchman following his being sentenced to another 11-month prison term for probation violation.

"Sometimes the "road to redemption" is a difficult path," the company said via statement. "Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time. We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course."

T.I. signed on with the liquor company last June. He wasn't just expected to be a pitchman, however, as the rapper was named Global Creative Consultant for the brand.
