Grand Hustle rapper Young Dro has revealed a conversation he had with T.I. prior to the rapper returning to prison for 11 months following his being convicted of violating his probation. Dro says he let Tip know that he was still loyal to both him and his Grand Hustle label and that Dro would do everything he could to hold down the fort until T.I.'s return.

"I talked to T.I. a few days before he went in. We were just riding around, kickin' it in the Maybach, just going over our plans for the future. But it wasn't on no sad shit. He still in high spirits. " Dro tells VIBE. "We were talking over shrimp and oyster like bosses. I called him again the night before he went in to just reassure him and let him know I'm P$C for life. He knows I'm a winner, and I'm going to make sure everything is in order until he comes back home...T.I. is my homeboy for life. Everything I do is for Grand Hustle. He knows he made mistakes and he's manning up to all of it."
