Femcee Wars; Nicki Minaj vs. Lil Kim
It had all the makings of a great daytime soap opera, the past-her-prime self-proclaimed Queen against the burgeoning starlet getting all of the attention. No one seems to know exactly why Lil Kim got so mad at Nicki Minaj, but it generated the most attention the Queen Bee has received since her release from prison in 2006. Minaj, for her part, has largely taken the high road in interviews--but not without taking a few not-so-subtle digs at the elder rapper. With Kim's recent promise to never 'take her foot of [Nicki's] neck,' it doesn't look like these two will be doing any collaborations any time soon.{story here]

T.I. Busted In Los Angeles, Sent Back to Prison For A Year
When multiplatinum rapper T.I. was released from prison in March of 2010, it looked like he was going to stage one of the bigger comebacks in recent memory. He did a number of high-profile interviews, released some well-received singles, got married to his longtime girlfriend Tameka "Tiny" Cottle and, most notably, produced and starred in an action blockbuster, Takers. Unfortunately, a few days after Takers debuted at #1 at the box office, T.i. and his new bride were busted in L.A. for possession. The rapper was found guilty of probation violation and sent back to prison for a year--short-circuiting what should've been a great return to form for the Atlanta-born rapper.{story here]
