Biggie Murder Case Resurfaces

It's been almost fourteen years since rapper the Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in Los Angeles, and no arrests have ever been made in the infamous case. But it looks like law enforcement authorities may have a renewed interest in the murder. There has allegedly been 'new' information brought to light regarding the 1997 shooting that claimed the rapper's life.

Reportedly, a task force comprised of local and federal law enforcement agencies is following new leads. According to one law enforcement source, the investigation into the 13-year-old unsolved case was "reinvigorated" months ago as a result of some undisclosed new information. The anonymous source would not reveal exactly what new information had surfaced due to the investigation being ongoing. But reportedly the investigation includes the Los Angeles Police Department, L.A. County District Attorney's Office and the FBI.
