Lupe Fiasco Vague About New Single

Chicago emcee Lupe Fiasco has mentioned that he will be releasing a 'controversial' new single in anticipation of his forthcoming album Lasers. The album has seen numerous delays and resulted in a bit of an estrangement between Lupe and his label. Fans pined for the album's release, and Fiasco is apparently not done pushing his label's limits.

While being interviewed on Providence, RI radio station Hot 106, the rapper proclaimed his new single a "really big, controversial record." The song is called "The Show Goes On," but Lupe didn't give any more details.

Lasers is is slated to drop on March 8.

Don't find it any more controversial than "Hero" by Nas or "Live It" by Paul Wall..., but still an amazing song and a great message.
