Alt-rappers The Cool Kids are one step closer to releasing their long-awaited, highly-anticipated debut album, When Fish Ride Bicycles. The Chicago-based duo have landed a groundbreaking deal with Green Label Sounds, Mountain Dew's record label. The Cool Kids will be releasing their album on the Green Label via iTunes and the Kids will retain all of the profits from the album.
"They agree with our purpose; they support our sound and they just want to see it happen - no BS," group member Chuck Inglish said via press release. His partner, Mikey Rocks, added that it was great utilizing a "hip platform to put our album out while having the creative control that we require to make something crazy."
Reportedly Pharrell Williams is working with the Cool Kids on ...Bicycles, and Mac Miller, Classixx, and MNDR are also slated to appear on the album.
