Indie rapper Tech N9ne is facing a lawsuit filed by Klosed Kustody Records for N9ne's featuring of KK Records artist Brandon "Bizzy" Evans on his work. The label is suing N9ne for $25,000.
The suit was filed in the Circuit Court of Jackson County in Missouri, and Klosed Kustody claim to have the rights to release Bizzy's music. Klosed Kustody both managed Bizzy and had the rapper under contract as an artist.
"After their introduction to Evans, Defendants began a course of conduct which interfered with the contracts between Klosed Kustody and Evans,” read the complaint against Tech N9ne.
Bizzy featured on Tech N9ne’s The Gates Mixed Plate album as well as the video for “Sex To The Beat.” Tech N9ne hasn't responded publicly to the suit.
