Jailed Rapper Accused of Smuggling Codeine Into Prison

Lil Boosie is now being accused of attempting to get codeine into the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. Charges have been filed against Boosie and other inmates by The Louisiana State Police after it was reportedly discovered that they were trying to smuggle the syrup into the prison.

The rapper reportedly made deals through an undercover agent to have codeine brought into the prison. Boosie has been charged with inciting a felony, and three other men have been charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution.

Boosie is behind bars for the first-degree murder of Terry Boyd.
