C.I. Joe Sent to Mental Hospital After Times Square Stunt

C.I. Joe, a rapper out of Brooklyn, was arrested after he climbed a 25-foot light pole and began rapping in Times Square yesterday (June 28th.) He pulled the stunt at 44th and 7th Ave. during rush hour.

He'd also reportedly been physically removed from the MTV offices nearby, after attempting to promote his mixtape.

The rapper was arrested while onlookers stared. He was taken down from his perch atop the pole and immediately taken to Bellevue Mental Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. The results of the evaluation were not made public.
