The Weeknd Cancels NYC Show

Just days after announcing their first onstage performance in the United States, The Weeknd has cancelled its show. The performance was originally scheduled to take place on September 15th. It was slated to be the artist's big debut on American soil, taking place in New York City.

“The Weeknd has cancelled their scheduled New York City performance. We're disappointed, but are here for him when he's ready. We're big fans,” said VICE in a statement.

The Weeknd was supposed to be headlining the Upfront Extravaganza at Skylight One Hanson.
