Rapper/Producer Says Black Eyed Peas Are On ''Hiatus''

Will.i.am is refuting any reports that the Black Eyed Peas have broken up. Kanye West fueled the rumors during an Austin City Limits performance last week. The rapper told the crowd, "Rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas. You're gonna be missed."

Will.i.am says the group is taking an indefinite hiatus, but they have not disbanded. "Maybe @kanyewest was stating the fact we will take a rest for a little bit," will.i.am Tweeted. "But we the @bep will never die.never.impossible."

Group member Fergie has said previously that t she wouldn't mind taking a hiatus from touring to spend more time with her husband, Josh Duhamel.
