Rapper T.I. has announced that he is releasing a new mixtape on January 1st, 2012 at the stroke of midnight. He made the announcement via Twitter, to an enthusiastic fanbase eager to hear new music from the star who spent most of the year behind bars.
“Breaking News! Its official…I’m puttin out a mixtape midnight Jan.1 2012 called #Fuckdacityup Wanna be the 1st thing yall hear nxt year,” T.I. tweeted.
“When da ball drop…We drop!!!! Out wit da old,in wit da TRUE!!!! Atown…. Weeee Baaaaaack!!!!!”
Tip is currently starring alongside his wife, Tiny and their children in the VH1 reality series, "The Family Hustle." He is also hard at work on his next official studio album.
