Selling a whopping 373,000 copies, this is Jackson's 6th number one album, his first since 1995's HIStory.
The concert film This is It also topped the box office, raking in $21.3 million domestically and over $100 million worldwide.
Other artist appearing in Billboard's top 20 are Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 at number 10, Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D at 13 and Tech N9ne's K.O.D. at 14.
