Police have named Atlanta rapper Young Vito as a possible suspect in the shooting of Slim Dunkin that occurred on Friday, December 16th. Police believe Vito shot Slim during an altercation that began over a piece of candy.
The police have asked Vito, born Vincent Hardimon, to turn himself in for his own protection.
“We are urging Mr. Hardimon to turn himself in to authorities because we have reason to believe he may be in danger,” police said in a statement released to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The funeral services for Slim Dunkin, born Mario Hamilton, are to be held today (December 23.)
