X Marks The SpotBack in the mid to late 90's, No Limit was doing major things in the hip-hop game. Master P and his soldiers were taking the rap world by storm with their New Orleans southern brand of hip hop. While most of the old crew has been on a hiatus, the first lady of No Limit is ready to step back into the game.

Mia X, the first female MC of No Limit Records, is making her much anticipated return to the rap game. Her newest album, titled Betty Rocka Locksmith, marks the "Unlady Like Diva's" first LP in over ten years. The newest installment is scheduled to be released in February 2010. The album includes "1 Life 1 Love," which will have a video to accompany the song soon, and "Get Da Paper," which is a tribute to eighties hip-hop culture.

X is no stranger to success. Fans remember her rise to acclaim from '95 to '98 with three successful albums. 1997's Unlady Like peaked at number two on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart while X's 1998 joint Mama Drama reached as high as number seven on the Billboard 200 chart.

The return of the "Unlady Like Diva" is one of triumph. Mia has had a turbulent and eventful life as of recent. With the shocking deaths of both her mother and father to go along with the devastation she faced with Hurricane Katrina to her hometown of New Orleans, things haven't been so bright for X. With Betty Rocka Locksmith, Mia X hopes to rock the rap scene once again.
