When DMX pulled out of the Alabama Pride match last week, many speculated that it was either because he feared for his safety, or because the promoters of the mixed martial arts fight wouldn't throw the victory in X's favor. It could've been a combination of the two, or just DMX being DMX.
Either way, X dropped out and while Thunder Promotions (the company backing the event) figures out whether or not to sue the Yonkers rapper, Coolio has stepped in to save the match. He'll be fighting actor/executive Eric Martinez. Thunder Promotions has said that Coolio has much less of a diva-esque attitude in his dealings regarding the fight. Anyone else notice a crack based theme here?
