Lil Wayne Protestors Arrested 12:00PM ET December 1, 2009 Contributor : Hip Hop Blog Staff A Rocky Williform Company Six people were arrested by the New Orleans Police Department Monday after allegedly tagging a building in the French Quarter during an apparent protest over the incarceration of Lil Wayne and Boosie Bad Azz, according to police.
An off duty officer reportedly saw a young man spray painting "Free Lil Wayne" on the side of a building. He notified authorities. According to police those same six men placed a banner calling for the freedom of Wayne, Boosie and all prisoners across Royal and Canal streets. The group also placed police barricades and metal garbage cans in the street to halt traffic.
The subjects were charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest by flight and criminal damage to property.
