Wale's debut album, Attention Deficit may not have sold the way the DC rapper expected it to but that is not stopping him from having an exemplary rookie year. Though he just came home from touring with Jay-Z, this weekend Wale will perform the biggest show of his life. The sports fanatic and former top level prep football player is scheduled to perform at halftime of the Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles game at Fed Ex Field in Landover, MD.
"It's exciting to have Wale performing at FedEx Field," said Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss in a press release. "I'm really happy that a local rapper from the D.C. area will be performing at a Redskins game. Wale is an upcoming star who has performed with Jay-Z and with many other artists in the business. He'll do a great job providing excitement and entertainment for our crowd. It will be a great halftime show."
Wale will perform a medley of his hit songs "Pretty Girls" and "Chillin'".
