Rapper Gucci Mane has to pay almost $300,000 to a jewelry company that has won a default judgment against the Atlanta-based hip hop star. A&A Diamonds filed the suit against Gucci in Henry County, Georgia in early 2012.
According to TMZ, Gucci borrowed a $130,000 diamond pinky ring and a bracelet and necklace valued at $110,000. He had fifteen days to pay for the items and put down $40,000. He hasn't paid any more of the balance.
Gucci Mane failed to appear in court, so A&A won a default judgment of $274,523. According to reports, a lien has been placed on his property.
