Clubgoers that suffered in injuries in the wake of the brawl that erupted at New York's W.i.P. last week are planning lawsuits. The nightspot has also been shut down in the wake of the melee that was allegedly instigated by stars Chris Brown and Drake.
One woman, Lucy Pavlovsky of Hoboken, NJ, suffered twelve stitches on her arm and her attorney told the NY Daily News that he plans to take the artists to court.
“My plan is to sue anybody who threw a bottle, anybody who created that dangerous atmosphere,” said Solano. "It was like a war zone. ... You had guys there 300 pounds, 6-foot-5, throwing these bottles as hard as they can.”
The bottle-throwing fight the Civil Enforcement Unit to examine W.i.P. and Greenhouse's violations, leading to both clubs being closed.
