Iggy Azalea Discusses Aussie Hip Hop

Iggy Azalea has quietly become a sensation in the United States as the 'Australian female rapper,' but the Grand Hustle artist revealed that she's not that big of a deal in her own homeland. Discussing the reception she's received back home, Iggy shared that rappers just aren't that popular anymore Down Under.

“I don’t know. I don’t think they love me too much cause I never hear from anybody over there," she revealed in an interview with XclusivesNet.

Iggy says that club music is much bigger in Australia than hip hop now.

"Rappers aren’t that popular over there," she says. "It’s really electronic dance music that’s popular. Indie rock and then rap is really lost.”
