Biopic Won't Feature Legendary Rocker's Original Songs

The Jimi Hendrix biopic that stars Andre 3000 as the iconic rock guitarist has hit another snag. The Hendrix estate had previously indicated that they did not support the project, and it looks like the estate has blocked the use of Hendrix's music. Rolling Stone has reported that none of the original songs by the artist will be featured.

Andre 3000 will reportedly cover songs by The Beatles, Muddy Waters, Elmore James and several tunes from when Hendrix played with Curtis Knight and the Squires.

It is unclear if the film's release will be affected by the change.
