Rapper Tweets Photo With L.O.N.S. Members

With hip hop legend Busta Rhymes headlining the eighth annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival this weekend at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the veteran emcee alluded to a possible reunion at the big show. Busta tweeted a photo of himself with his former Leaders of the New School bandmates.

"#LEADERS stay tuned," Busta tweeted, along with a photo of him alongside fellow LONS members Dinco D and Charlie Brown.

The group was unofficially part of the Native Tongues collective in the early 90s, but broke up acrimoniously before their career reached its full potential. Busta went on to become a solo superstar and the group hasn't actively performed as a unit since the mid-90s. Busta nor the organizers of the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival have confirmed that Leaders will perform.
