Hudson Family Killer To Serve Three Consecutive Life Sentences

William Balfour, who was convicted of triple murder in the killing of actress/singer Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew, has been sentenced to serve three consecutive life sentences in prison. He appeared in a Chicago courtroom today for his sentencing and steadfastly proclaimed his innocence.

"Your soul is as barren as dark space," the judge reportedly told the 31-year-old.

Balfour, who was dating Jennifer Hudson's sister previously, reportedly promised to kill his ex-girlfriend's family in a jealous rage back in 2008.
