''You Gotta Live With the Decisions You Make In Life''

Rapper B.G. gave a lengthy interview to DJ Slab 1 of Q93 New Orleans, wherein the former Cash Money star spoke about his upcoming 14-year prison bid. He warned any young fans not to follow his mistakes and he also acknowledged that his own poor decisions landed him in his current situation.

“Stay in school…Listen to your mama and your daddy. Don’t make the same mistakes that I did,” B.G. advised. “Cause it’s a lot of things I wish I could take back and wish I could do different, but I ain’t able to do that. I put myself in this situation. There’s a lot of kids that look up to me and a lot of fans that I let down, but I ain’t perfect. I make mistakes and it ain’t worth it at the end of the day.”

“I got 14 years. I gotta do 11 off of that…At the end of the day I possessed the firearm and I was a convicted felon,” said B.G. “I shouldn’t have had a firearm. I had a firearm, I can’t take that back. I took my licks and I gotta do my bid. At the end of the day you gotta live with the decisions you make in life. I made my bed, I gotta lay in it.”

B.G. was sentenced to 14 years in prison for gun possession and witness tampering--charges that followed a 2009 traffic stop.
