Rashad Haughton Says Family Hasn't Endorsed Anything 6:00AM ET August 8th, 2012 Contributor : Chris G. A Rocky Williform Company
Drake released the posthumous Aaliyah track "Enough Said" earlier this week amid rumors that it was possibly the precursor to a full-length project. No one seemed to be able to confirm or deny that a new Aaliyah album was forthcoming, and Timbaland, the superproducer who crafted some of the late singer's biggest hits, said that he didn't think there should be a posthumous album if he wasn't involved.
Aaliyah's brother, Rashad, posted on her Facebook page that there is no such album coming--at least not one that is endorsed by her family.
"There is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family,” Rashad Haughton posted.
However, Aaliyah's Blackground label logo is on the official artwork for "Enough Said," and the label is run by her relatives.
