Singer Reportedly Owes the State of New Jersey

Rapper/singer/songwriter Lauryn Hill has all-new tax woes. As she is currently awaiting sentencing for failing to pay her taxes, and could face as much as three years in prison for owing $1.8 million to the federal government, the singer also reportedly owes $446, 386 to the State of New Jersey.

The State entered a civil judgment against Hill on June 14th. The issue hasn't yet become a criminal matter, however.

Hill pleaded guilty to intentionally failing to file for 2005, 2006 and 2007. Her sentencing is scheduled for November.
