Atlanta rapper Future will be in Tallahassee, Florida to help kick off Florida A&M University’s 125th anniversary and the 2012 football season. The star will be performing during halftime, in place of their suspended marching band.
“We are very excited about the 2012 football season and the talent we have seen in our team,” said Derek Horne, FAMU Athletics Director. “This is an exciting time for FAMU football, and the Athletics program has created an energetic and vibrant halftime production to give fans and supporters a spectacular experience. Having Future perform at the first home game sets the tone of what fans can expect throughout the entire season.”
Future will also host a meet and greet with students.
