Rapper Capone was arrested yesterday (September 5th) on charges of child-support evasion. The New York Post reports that Capone failed to pay more than $160,000 in child support dating back to 2004.

According to prosecutors, the rapper has only made three payments, amounting to $144, over the past eight years. Capone was reportedly released on a $10,000 personal-recognizance bond and must now pay $1,500 a month until his 12-year-old daughter turns 21.

“It is what it is,” he said outside of court. “I know it looks bad on paper, but I take care of my daughter.”
