Superstar Taking the Stage At Halftime

Pop superstar Beyonce has been tapped to perform for halftime at Super Bowl XLVII. The big game takes place on February 3rd, 2013, and the chart-topping singer will be the major attraction during the festivities.

Coming on the heels of Madonna's spectacular set at the 2012 Super Bowl, which also featured Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., Beyonce is expected to pull out all of the stops for the crowd at the Mercedes Benz Superdome and the millions watching at home.

This marks the Super Bowl's return to New Orleans since the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
