J. Cole revealed via UStream that he is currently prepping his sophomore album, Born Sinner. The Roc Nation rhymer's second effort is expected to be released on January 28th, 2013. Cole released a trailer previewing the LP and also issued a statement via Jay-Z's Life + Times regarding the project.

"The beauty of the announcement is that the real MOMENT happened only once," Cole stated. "Only the 15 or so thousand who sat in that Ustream know what that really felt like. Here’s to new albums and new approaches. See you soon," he said.

Cole's debut Cole World: The Sideline Story was released in late 2011. No further details have been announced regarding his sophomore album.
