''Cough Up A Lung'' Targets Former Bad Boy Rapper

Game has released a Shyne diss called "Cough Up A Lung." The track is aimed at the former Bad Boy star and comes on the heels of a war of words between the two after Shyne made disparaging comments about Kendrick Lamar's acclaimed album good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Game came to the defense of his fellow Compton native by attacking Shyne on Twitter.

Shyne responded to his rival's new record.

"That's my son. I got love for him. I always have love for him," Shyne said. "I'm proud of him because he's something that I helped create. ...He studied me, and he aspired to be like me. ...I always have love for him because he never fronted. He always paid homage to me."

"I look at him as a little brother," continued Shyne. "But, you know, sometimes, your little brother do things that don't make sense."

"If I had knew [Kendrick was cool with] Game like that, I might have not said nothin', because I have that much love and respect for Game."
