Lil Wayne revealed in an interview with MTV that he plans to hang up his microphone after releasing his fifth entry in his popular Tha Carter series. Wayne has both Tha Carter V and I Am Not A Human Being II slated to drop in 2013, but after he has acknowledged that it may be time for him to pursue his other professional interests.

He claims that his passion for recording just isn't what it used to be.

"I know y'all want me around for a little bit, [but] Tha Carter V is my last album," he revealed. "I've been rapping since I was 8 years old; I'm 30 now. That's a long time, and I like to do so many more things, and when I like to do something, I end up loving to do it real quick. And I love to do something, I'm fully focused on it and it only, and music sometimes is not that 'it."
