Rapper Wiz Khalifa had to deal with some in-flight difficulties after his plane was diverted shortly after leaving New York City's LaGuardia Airport. The regional aircraft landed safely at Westchester County Airport Tuesday afternoon after being redirected around 1 p.m., according to officials.
An emergency was never declared, but the plane landed after burning off fuel as a precaution.
Wiz was still made it to a show in West Virginia, despite he and some members of his entourage being a little rattled by the incident.
"Which was a little scary because we didn't quite know what that meant," said Anthony Tamborino, aka "Berner" of Khalifa's "Taylor Gang" entourage.
"That plane juss did not wanna fly," Wiz tweeted regarding the situation. "Man f**c. We are stucc!!!"
"Still in the muh fuggin airport :-(" he added later. "Finally"
