Singer Must Pay Reward Money He Promised

Singer/songwriter Ryan Leslie was ordered to pay the $1 million reward he promised two years ago for the return of his laptop. The prized piece of equipment was stolen in Germany back in 2010, and auto-repair-shop owner Armin Augstein, who reportedly found the computer while walking his dog, turned it over to German police that November.

A unanimous verdict by the jury was announced in favor of Augstein

"I'm not disappointed," Leslie reportedly said about the outcome. "The reasons I defended myself in the case are the same reasons I believe Mr. Augstein is not entitled to the reward," Leslie said.

"Don't believe everything you read in the f*ckin news," he tweeted later. "Even though it's very entertaining!"
