Frank Ocean, Nas, 2 Chainz Also Up For Major Awards

Hip hop superstar LL Cool J and country queen Taylor Swift hosted the Grammy announcements celebration last night (December 5th) and Jay-Z and Kanye West were among the artists leading all nominations. Jay and West landed six nominations each, as did the Black Keys' Dan Auerbach; FUN; Mumford & Sons and Frank Ocean.

Ocean was nominated for three major awards; Record of the Year for his track "Thinkin' Bout You," Best New Artist, and the prestigious Album of the Year award for his major label debut, channel ORANGE.

The nominees for Best Rap Album include Take Care by Drake; Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album, Pt. 1, Life Is Good by Nas; undun by The Roots; Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't, and Based on a T.R.U. Story by 2 Chainz.
