Ludacris Files Lawsuit Against Texas Couple

Ludacris is going after a Texas couple over his company's "Disturbing Tha Peace" moniker. Luda has filed a lawsuit claiming that Demetri and Donna Evans-Brown are illegally using the phrase "Disturb The Peace" for their audio equipment and musical recording business. He filed legal documents accusing the couple of copyright infringement.

Ludacris claims to have owned the trademark for "Disturbing tha Peace" since 2003, and he alleges that the couple's use of a similar-sounding name will confuse the marketplace. He is suing for damages and attorneys fees and is asking a judge to prohibit the Browns from using the name going forward.
