Rick Ross Canceled Show After Death Threats

Rick Ross has reportedly canceled a concert in North Carolina after receiving death threats. The Maybach Music Group leader was set to perform Friday (December 7th) in Greensboro and Saturday in Charlotte, along with MMGers Wale and Meek Mill. But reportedly, Ross has been receiving death threats from the Gangster Disciples, a gang that has an issue with the star.

The Disciples released a YouTube video warning Ross to remain out of Charlotte. The gang is reportedly upset because Ross has mentioned their founder in his lyrics and sometimes uses the Star of David to promote himself, which is a symbol used by the Gangster Disciples.

Police released a statement assuring fans of safety prior to Ross' cancellation. No official word has been given as of yet.
