Future Announces New Deal With Epic

Atlanta rapper Future has announced a new joint venture between Epic Records and his own Freebandz Entertainment imprint. In a statement, he explained why Epic's handling of his debut album Pluto led to him expanding on their business arrangement.

"LA Reid and the team at Epic made a great impact on my career helping me to reach an incredible level of success with Pluto," says Future. "It made perfect sense to fully partner with them with my label Freebandz."

His next mixtape, "Future Presents FBG: The Movie," will be dropping on January 13th. The project will serve as a launch for the new artists on Freebandz Entertainment.
