Rapper Gives Shoes, $10,000 To Strawberry Mansion

Meek Mill is donating $10,000 to his alma mater, Strawberry Mansion High School in Philadelphia, PA. The MMG star will give money and basketball shoes to his former school today (December 21st.) Meek signed a deal this past summer with Puma, who are contributing the shoes.

There were initially reports that the event would be canceled due to Meek Mill's controversial lyrics, but it was subsequently rescheduled for today.

Additionally, Strawberry Mansion could close as the Philadelphia School District seeks to consolidate.
