Chief Keef Gets Good News In Case

Rapper Chief Keef caught a major legal break today (January 2nd), as a judge decided not to put the 17-year old in jail for violating his probation. Instead, Cook County juvenile court judge Carl Anthony Walker decided to wait to address the matter on January 28th, when Keef is slated to return to court for a hearing on a separate probation violation.

Keef, born Keith Cozart, moved into a new home in the upscale Northbrook suburb of Chicago without notifying his juvenile probation officer of the address change. The violation led to prosecutors seeking to have the 17-year old rapper jailed.

After getting the news, Keef boasted on Twitter and posted a pic of his new home.

"#MyLawyerAintForNun," he tweeted.
