Common announced that he is planning to release three projects in 2013.

Promoting his upcoming movie Luv with an appearance on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," the veteran emcee revealed that he wants to drop an EP to coincide with the film, a mixtape in the spring and an album later in the year.

"I'm coming out with an EP at the end of this month that's accompanying the movie Luv, and then I've got a mixtape - the first mixtape I've ever done in my life - will be coming out in April," he said. "And then an album in September."
