Rapper Plans To Appeal Ruling

Hip hop superstar Lil Wayne is taking legal steps to contest the November ruling that ordered him to pay superproducer Quincy Jones III aka QDIII. Wayne fought to block QDIII from releasing a documentary about him that the rapper felt was defamatory and Weezy also alleged that the film used his music without his permission.

Nonetheless, Wayne was ordered to pay over $2 million to QDIII.

Wayne has now filed documents to appeal the jury's decision. He has a month to officially file the appeal.
