Azealia Banks found herself facing a backlash from many of her fans and supporters after she tweeted a homophobic insult to gay bogger Perez Hilton. As Hilton antagonized the young rapper about her ongoing feud with fellow newcomer Angel Haze, she decided to fire back by dropping an F-bomb.
"@PerezHilton lol what a messy fa***t you are," she tweeted.
She then unapologetically tried to justify using the offensive term.
"A fa***t is not a homosexual male. A fa***t is any male who acts like a female. There's a BIG difference," she added later. "If u listen to my music and are not offended by the word n***a.... We're not gonna go here with this fa***t shit... We're just not. Lol"
