Officers Reportedly Shot At Teenager As He Brandished Weapon

More details have surfaced regarding Chief Keef's December 2011 arrest and the incident in which the young rapper pointed a handgun at police officers. It is being reported by DNAInfo that Keef held a coat over his hands upon leaving his grandmother's home at the time, and was stopped by police for questioning. He then dropped the coat, flashed a handgun and ran.

The police gave chase, as the 16-year old turned and waved his gun at them. They fired at the teen, but didn't hit him. They caught him a half block away and found the loaded pistol. He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He also was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor.

He was placed on probation and house arrest, but after video footage surfaced of Keef brandishing a firearm, he is now facing charges that he violated his probation. it is unclear how much time he will face if convicted.
