Judge Determines That Rapper Violated His Probation

Controversial Chicago rapper Chief Keef was arrested today (January 15th) after a judge determined that the teenage hip hop star did violate his probation.

Keef, born Keith Cozart, appeared in Cook County juvenile court. He also faced additional charges in early January that he violated his probation by moving to a new address in an affluent suburb without notifying his probation officer.

The seventeen-year old was charged with violating his probation after footage surfaced of him with a firearm last year. He's been on probation since early 2012 for brandishing a weapon at police officers and resisting arrest.
