Rapper Claiming Civil Rights Violations 6:00AM ET January 18th, 2013 Contributor : Stephen Willis A Rocky Williform Company
Rapper Meek Mill has filed a lawsuit against the City of Philadelphia and against city police officers Andre Boyer and Michael Vargas in Federal Court. The suit alleges civil rights violations, false imprisonment, civil conspiracy and invasion of privacy.
The rapper says that he was wrongfully arrested on Halloween 2012 and that photos the officers took of him were later posted on social media sites like Instagram.
It is unclear how much Mill is seeking in damages. He was pulled over reportedly for reasons to do with his probation.
