Vado addressed the rumors that he has signed with DJ Khaled. Stories began to surface earlier this week that he had joined Khaled's camp, but in a recent interview, Vado revealed that they were unfounded.

"Shout out Khaled, shout out to the We The Best team, shout out to Mavado, shout out to Ace Hood, you already know," Vado said in an interview. "Yeah, you know, it's potential over there. It's definitely potential over there. The potential is high. But you know, there's a few people out there reaching. It's not official yet. Nah, it's just, hey, you ain't know LeBron [James] was going to Miami until he really went to Miami, but you heard it all in the air. Khaled knew me for years, man. He knew me from the game, the Jae Millz era. It's definitely, there's definitely close relations right there. He knows my family, I know his family."
