LL Cool J Talks About His Childhood Abuse

LL Cool J has referenced his childhood abuse in the past, but in an interview with Oprah for "Oprah's Next Chapter," the rapper/actor went into detail about how he was physically tormented by a man that was an associate of his mother. He shared the extent of his troubled younger days.

"A friend of my mother's. it wasn't sexual it was just beating, take all your clothes off. Kicked out in the snow, 'Stay outside,'" he recalled.

"Just beaten with vacuum cleaner pipes," LL revealed. "Just stripped naked, put your hands on the bunkbed. When you fall down, stand back up."

LL's upcoming album Authentic Hip-Hop was originally slated to be released in February, but there are talks that it may be pushed back.
