Lil Kim never appeared at her scheduled appearance at Club Providence in Manhattan this weekend. But the Queen Bee gave a pretty solid reason for missing the gig: she says she was never supposed to be there in the first place.

"Due to sched. conflicts I will not be attending Providence Night Club tonight. I will be in the studio finishing up my new album!!" Kim tweeted. "Just to clarify I was never scheduled to be at Providence Night Club. The promoter, Nate D. falsely advertised me being there."

"I was always scheduled to be in the studio tonight at 8pm," she added.
